They have all you need to know. If you are investing with an Investor, read through the details of the property package. Cash Returns should clearly be spelled out.






What is the average hold time for a Real Estate investment? If it's your deal, it's all up to you. When investing with an Investor, the average time is usually 3-5 years before full principal is returned, but the interest is usually deposited into your IRA as the agreement states.






Can I take my invested money out of the deal at any time? If you are invested in someone else's deal, you will likely have to wait for the property to sell or until the investor refinances.






Can I take my interest out of the deal at anytime? If it's your deal, you decide. If you are invested in someone else's deal, you will likely receive periodic payments to your IRA.






If I want to invest in other Investor's deals, how do I find them? Try your local REI club or look online for active investors.





What amount of money do I need to invest? If you are doing the deal yourself, any amount will do since you may also finance part of the deal if you do not have all the money in your IRA. When working with an Investor, it depends on how big the deal is. When Investing in Commercial Real Estate, expect to need $50K and up.
